Hope you are not getting too busy with you work, just a quick updates for what we have planned until the end of term.
AGM (Annual General Meeting) - Wednesday 7th March
(Electing the new committee & giving an overview of the year)
1pm - 3pm (might be shorter)
Venue: Meeting room, Imperial College Chaplaincy (next to the prayer room)
It has now been 3 years since ICBS was started with only 3 committee members, I am very happy to see it expand and with everyone’s effect we have achieve much more than we thought is possible, including the talk by Ajahn Khemadhammo when we had virtually no budget from the union. It has been a great experience for me to organise and meet so many people who share the same interest as me. If you like what we do and would like to get involve, it’s time to become a committee member. Note that ULUBUDA will be having their AGM on the same day at night. Read more…
Joint Dinner with ULUBUDA, Queen Mary & King’s Buddhist Soc - Thursday 8th March
6pm - 9pm
Venue: Kiasu, 48 Queensway, Bayswater, W2 3RY
Would be nice to meet others of similar interests from different colleges, also a chance for the newly elected committee to meet everyone. Facebook
Pure Land Chanting Session - Sunday 11th March
2pm - 5pm
Venue: Imperial (room to be confimed)

Trip to Amaravati - Saturday 17th March
9pm - 5pm
Sat 17th March
£12 pounds - travelling by coach or minibus depending on the number of people going. We have confimed with Amaravati that we will be visiting on the 17th and they will be giving us a talk and a meditation sessions. We will be collecting money during our upcoming sessions as we have to pay for the booking in advance, please let us know if you are interested.
