Social Dharma Session at ULU - 8th Nov

Posted on Monday 6 November 2006

Dear all,

We are going to have a Social Dharma Session at ULU with ULUBUDA this Wednesday - 8th November, 6:30pm, Room 2B, ULU.

This is just an informal gathering for us all to share thoughts and feelings about meditation, Buddhism or simply life. It is a good chance for us to relax together in a less formal environment.

There will be delicious vegetarian food, and if you wish to bring some food to contribute then please feel free.

  • We will have a discussion/debate on Buddhism and maybe the group can help answer each others questions.
  • We may look at some Buddhist texts relevant to our world today.
  • We will conclude with a meditation on kindness (metta).

Please feel free just to drop by, to chat, eat and hang out with the other members. This is a much less structured event so it can change according to all our preferences. So come down from your meditation caves (halls of residence) and be at ULU on the 8th November, Room 2B, 6:30pm.

Lastly, if you wish to join us as member (Membership fee £2), please fill in a form on the day or join us online. There is no pressure to become a member but if you do want to help us continue then please fill one in :).

Best wishes,
ICBS
